What is eyebrow geometry?

All these names come down to one - creating perfect eyebrows. The basis of well-designed eyebrows is drawing, that's how - DESIGNED, because stylists are architects of eyebrows and they are also familiar with face geometry! The sketch has to be precise and adjusted to the oval of the face and the position of the eyes, taking into account the correction of the width of the nose and the distance between the eyes. No less important is also the colour - the stylists must take into account not only its intensity but also its tone, so that it harmoniously harmonizes with the type of beauty of our client. All these nuances make today's eyebrow styling a phenomenon and a very desirable treatment for our clients. Today's education and the involvement of stylists in the subject of eyebrows make it possible for us to come to the salon with bright and thin eyebrows and with visible cavities we can leave the salon with our dream eyebrows straight from the instagram. Stylists use various tools to determine the ideal shape, such as an eyebrow circus, calliper, tinted thread and "brow paste" - a white paste that allows you to outline the outline of the eyebrows and the area beyond, to give the client the opportunity to see the designated shape behind it, we will transfer it to hair and skin coloring. 

Brow henna, powder or gel? 

 Let's start with what is henna? Henna is a plant from which we get a red dye of the same name. It has been used for years to decorate the body. Henna originally takes many hours to oxidize and only dye on warm burgundy and red shades. Products based on henna in combination with other herbs can be dyed to yellow, brown and cooled with natural indigo to dark browns. Such henna still requires hours of waiting for the colouring effect, but the benefits of natural ingredients are definitely worth it, especially when talking about hair colouring. 

In salon conditions we do not have the possibility to work, which lasts 12 hours on one client and wait many hours for the effect. That is why products were created that imitated the result of henna, not containing it. This is how popular powder paints were created, which do not have a single gram of naturalness in them and are activated by hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide water used for henna) which dries and irritates the skin. Henna powder was usually present in 2-3 colours and coloured both hair and non-durable skin (maximum 3 days). 

Gel henna, i.e., dyes, or more precisely, hairdressing paints enclosed in small handy tubes, do not differ much from their predecessors. However, the lightness of work and comfortable texture decided that they dominated the cosmetic market. Gel paint is a convenient and easy to use product that perfectly colours hair, but does not stay on the skin longer than 48 hours. 

And finally, henna powder, which does not limit us to mapping only in the area where hair grows, but also where there is no hair. Henna powder is based on a plant extract, based on the fact that natural ingredients over chemical ones predominate in its composition. The chemical components are also essential and play an important role here, because without them we could not achieve colour effects in a short time.  Henna powder is also a product that does not require the use of oxidizers to penetrate the hair bark and introduce pigment, which means there is no need to use hydrogen peroxide or ammonia, and a special herbal moisturizing activator that also takes care of the hair. Henna powder is also recommended for people after permanent make-up, which will not be renewed, and the client would like to take care of her natural hair and achieve a perfect temporary pigmentation of skin and hair. However, let's remember that henna powder only stays on the cells of the epidermis, so it exfoliates with it, and thus it is individual and takes from 3-14 days on the skin and about 6 weeks on the hair. 

What kind of Brow henna?

 As soon as interest in powder henna developed, cosmetic manufacturers launched many products on the market without making the choice easier for stylists. There are a lot of solutions on the market today, so, what is the best thing to do when choosing powder henna? First of all, the amount of active natural ingredients that will effectively stimulate the hair follicles to grow new hair, as well as nourish and strengthen the visible ones - so your customers will see a real difference in the condition of their eyebrows. Is she the right choice for everyone?

Unfortunately, there are no perfect products. In the case of customers with very dense eyebrows, who want to eliminate grey hair or want to change the colour of the hair itself without colouring the skin, we recommend the use of high quality eyebrow gel dye, e.g. Hairwell, which is distinguished by its very short composition and low 2% oxidant concentration. The colour palette allows you to bring out the beauty of your eyebrows and the colours remain for up to six weeks. We recommend the paint for women who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of henna.

Is Brow henna allergy?

Powder henna contains many substances of natural origin but also chemicals. Like any cosmetic product, powder henna can be allergenic. The client may not be aware of which substances she will react with the allergy, however, we recommend that you perform an allergy test and get to know the composition of the product you are working with. 

Can I use Brow henna during pregnancy? 

Pregnancy and lactation are not contraindications to the procedure, however, hormonal changes occurring in the body may make the result of the procedure not as permanent and spectacular as it should be. However, the procedure is safe for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. However, future mums should consider whether they have had an allergic reaction to powder henna before, as if they have an allergic reaction, they may not be able to take the appropriate drugs to reduce their symptoms.  

How do you perform the Brow henna? 

For many people, powder henna is a source of problems and they wonder why the pigment is green or red, why is henna yellow just after washing? Why does it stay on the skin so short or unevenly? All these questions are unfortunately due to ignorance of a relatively new product. Cosmetic women who have been working with eyebrow paints for years have no experience and knowledge of henna powder.
