Beauty business during coronavirus

You run your own living room, which has been closed for days or maybe weeks? Since 1 April 2020, all beauty and hairdressing salons from above have been subject to a closure order, while many of them have already suspended their operations a few weeks earlier for fear of the health and safety of their employees, customers and their next customers. 

The entrepreneurs running their own office ask themselves questions every day: 

• How long will this take? 
• When can we get back to work?
• Will we be able to go back to "before"? 

Only ignorant people do not worry about what will happen tomorrow, in a month or six months and what consequences the current situation will bring. 

We have no influence on many issues at the moment and it is not worth thinking what would happen if, instead we propose to focus our energy on optimizing our business as much as possible and getting back on track as soon as possible after everything slowly starts to get back to normal. 

1. ANALYSIS 

No one is complaining about the lack of free time now, you can finally sit down quietly in the evening and think about whether there is anything in your business that you can improve?

Maybe you have already had many ideas that you would like to introduce, but you have always lacked time for implementation? Now is the right time for that. 

2. STAND OUT 

Are there any lounges within 10km of your office that offer the same services? Well, that's right :) and certainly not one.

How to make the clients choose you? You have to find something that will distinguish you and make your clients want to come back.

Aromatic coffee in a beautiful welcome cup, natural lemonade, homemade cake every Friday, or maybe a new beautiful floral wall on which the clients will be happy to take photos and publish on the instagram? 

There are many ideas and ways to stand out on the market, a little creativity and the desire to do something "more" is the key to success! 

3. TAKE CARE OF CONTACT WITH CUSTOMERS 

You haven't seen your clients in two weeks, and when was the last time you had contact with them? 

Take your free time to build relationships with your clients. 

Post on Facebook to suggest a way to deal with your roots, share a home spa, or maybe suggest growing eyebrows together? 

Maybe it's worth asking if everything is fine and wish you a lot of health?

Easter is coming - don't forget to tell your customers about the peaceful holidays in your private message. 

4. DON'T RUSH

Although each of us knows that time is money, there are issues that should not be saved in terms of time spent. 

Each of us lives in a rush, we are in a constant hurry somewhere, we lack time. For your clients, a visit to your salon is perhaps the only two hours in a month that they can devote to themselves and forget about the duties waiting and the phone call. Give her that comfort, let her feel that time has just slowed down when she crosses the threshold of your living room. Say hello to her with something nice, take care of cool music, beautifully scented candles in the background.

Let every sense be pampered. 

Never let your client feel that you are in a hurry, it will make her feel unwelcome and effectively deter her from the future...

5. A SATISFIED CUSTOMER IS THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT 

If your clients feel pampered and find something nice to look at, they will be happy to share it with their friends or on the instagram. An investment in customer service is an investment that always pays for itself. 

6. DO NOT REDUCE OR INCREASE PRICES

Your current service prices are a component of many incidents such as high quality products, your knowledge and experience, rent for your premises and many, many others whose value after quarantine will certainly not decrease.

Instead of lowering prices or letting customers pay for a new set as a supplement, better keep current prices and offer them something extra.

Lemonade to go, a fancy lip mask during the treatment, a five-minute hand massage or maybe a candle-scented wax that they associate with your salon?
